Native Researchers’ Cancer Control Training Program (NRCCTP)

Funded in 1995 by the National Cancer Institute, the NRCCTP is an innovative and intensive all expenses paid 3-week research training program for American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and US Associated Pacific Islanders.

The goal of this training program is to increase the number of Native people involved in cancer control and prevention research, and ultimately, to reduce cancer health disparities.

This project was lead by Principal Investigator, Thomas Becker, MD, PhD.
